I was inspired to do a post on booze related gadgets after Adam reviewed Agwa liqueur aka Super Booze *theme of superman in the background*. Everyone has a drink at least once in their lives which leads down the root of “Its not for me thanks” or “More, More, MORE!”. I’ve been down both roots I used to drink like a fish. Then after a while It dawned on me I shouldn’t drink anymore. I all ways used to do the sorts of  things when drunk that have entered the vault of “Things never to be talked about again”, I didn’t like the night before, and especially didn’t like feeling sick, so decided to become a tea total. I now just listen to my best friends stories of themed nights and blank spots in her memory, I think she parties extra hard for me because I don’t. Anyway just because I don’t drink, doesn’t mean I can’t root out some of the best and coolest boozy gadgets on the market, and that’s just what I did, all for you lovely boys.

ice beer mugsIcy Beer Mugs (set of 2) RRP £9.95

You get two mugs that have a clear non toxic liquid sandwiched between the two walls of the mug. All you do is pop them in the freezer and let them become an ice block shaped glass. So no messing when it comes to that perfect cold beer just poor it in and let the mug keep your brew at just the right temperature. These dishwasher safe pint glasses are an ideal way to keep your beer cold this summer.

BrewZer Beer Making kits- Larger RRP W£29.95brewzer beer brewing

Have you ever gone to a pub and thought ‘Christ on a bike with the price of this beer it must be mixed with gold dust!’. Well you can say bugger the pub I’ll make my own. This is a micro form of a home brewery, which the makers claim is incredibly easy to do. It comes with a packet of all natural ingredients (same as the ones a real brewery would have, yeast, hops etc) you mix it with cold tap water and within 21 days you have enough beer for 10 pints. I could boor you with all the technical details about how it uses pressure to force the yeast to the bottom of the dispenser to keep your beer clear. But hear are the facts straight. The thing comes with very simple step by step guide of putting the brewery together and how to fill it up.

In ten minutes or less you’ve got it all over a done with. You wait for 21 days and your beer is ready to drink at room temperature. It also has instructions on how to chill and carbonate your beer in bottles. The alcohol percentage can’t be judged properly, but if you want more of a kick out of it leave it to stand for longer (up to six weeks). Once you’ve started on your home made beer it needs to be drunk in 10 days. Once its all gone you can buy a 30 pint refill of  bitter or larger at £20.95 from the BrewZer company. This is perfect for driving your wife mad and turning the garage into a pub!

beer beltLads Night Out Beer Belt RRP £5.95

No this isn’t the new fashion belt Lady GaGa has ( I think she would rather wear it on her head) its a belt that caters for the beer loving man on the move. One size fits all with holders to fit 6 standard sized bottles. No longer will you have to struggle with all your beers to the table or move long distance for another. You shove them into your belt and go. I don’t see though what stops your bottles from falling through the loops. To be more secure they should have put another strap on it going up from underneath the bottles . Because I would be pretty annoyed if I spent my money on six bottles of amber nectar just so when I take a few steps for them to fall through and smash. Hopefully though the one strap across the middle is enough support for a bottle. A good novelty gift.

Beer Pong RRP £12.95beer pong

I only heard about this drinking game after watching and American teen comedy, or as I like to call them ‘20 somethings pretending to be teens comedy’, which was called Beer Pong. You get 14 tumblers, 2 pin pong balls, a mat to help make tidying up easier and a booklet on the game. The idea of it is, you have to bounce the ping pong ball into your oponentes cup, you succeed they have to drink the contents of it, strategy is all part of this game and I do suggest watching the promo video if you decide to buy this game to give you ideas, FYI the films stupid like American Pie, makes you giggle but its quite crap.

giant beer glassGiant Beer Glass – Hands off! RRP £9.95

Yes nothing accompanies an avid pub goer than an novelty glass. This one is especially cool as it holds a whopping 1.4 liters of your chosen ale and if someone thinks they can share a bit the glass says it all “Hands off my f*ckin’ beer. Nothing says it better than an insulting sweary beer glass. You can also get “Super Size Me” and “Drink-O-Meter” which praises you the more you can handle. Please remember though drink responsibly and drinking a whole one of these glasses will surely make you very ill, or worse in your aunts bed….with her in it too.
